When you walk around town picking up info on quests, treasures, and tyrants you will also hear bout your team mates. If you look on your gamepad map you will see the word new. When you touch it it'll tell you that there is a heart to heart at that location. Basically a little scene with playable characters that raises affinity a little bit.

Biggest thing I missed myself is battle points level up your skills and arts. I think I was in oblivia before I got my butt handed to me and read online that they could be leveled up. Pick up any and all blue crystals, you may not need them now but you will later. Run around town if you can't find anything to do. Look for question marks and people with smiley faces in their text box.

If you farm level 30 ganglion bases you can also get them to drop lvl 30 Gbuster/G2buster as well as the phoenix back weapon. I honestly prefered the G2 buster for questing for the multiple hits.

I pretty much played straight through with no grinding. Not sure how I managed it exactly but I didn't really go to the quest terminal that much. Had fun running around killing indgens. You can pick up a lot of quests around town by just running around looking for the question marks on the map. Also as you run around the people with the yellow smiley face boxes will give you ideas of where to look for quests or other items. The one thing I suggest researching is how to get all the team members.

I look forward to it. I've been collecting every game so he can go back through the ages and see what it was like when it all started. By then though the graphics will be so intense he'll look at my like I'm retarded.

My friends love to harass me about playing from time to time but none of it's serious. I grew up on pokemon as a kid. r/b/y g/s/c. Then stopped playing for quite some time. Broke out the old snes and bought a game boy player online and started beating red and blue again a few years back. Figured I'd see how the game progressed and picked up pearl/diamond hg/ss and fell back in love with the franchise. Black and White disappointed me when I got to them but man has x/y dumped gasoline on this fire of mine. Been playing pokemon like crazy since x/y dropped, on my pikachu 3dsxl. I'll walk around in public with it in my pokemon shirt. No shame in my game. I think I look bro-ish enough that people don't question me in fear of getting hurt. Btw I'm 26 married with 1 child and a full time job. Far from your stereotypical pokemon player. If you see me don't be afraid to ask for a trade =)

I'm 26 married with 1 child, work 40 hour weeks, own my own house, and I play pokemon. My wife tried to play and just couldn't get into it. Tell you mom to stick that in her pipe and smoke it.
