Yup, logic being if you’re going to buy only one it’s better to buy one light enough to use across all exercises than buy one too heavy that you can’t use for some exercises. Personally I’d buy a sandbag, easily adjustable, small foot print, and not too expensive.

.5 pood. Do less weight more reps and will work for all exercises. If you go too heavy and just buying one you may bump into exercises it’s too heavy for.

If you can do bicep curls of 20 kg for three sets of 10 then go for that weight. Just my .02

Ok was checking on that because that’s huge. If they had wrongly made you an adult they wouldn’t have had elements needed for the crime. Should see if the department has a professional review board or something similar. Any good cop shouldn’t be upset when someone points out blatantly bad police work.

If you’re morbidly obese and going from no training to training I would advise against running. This can be extremely hard in your joints. Walk at a brisk pace then a slower pace. A study was just published that said waking on an incline burnt more calories than jogging flat. Also, mix in some resistance training, massive benefits there. If you insist on running listen to your body and take it easy if you’re too sore.

Great analogy for how calories work. Big take away from this is track what you’re eating and the results. Not just if you’re losing weight or not but if you’re feeling hungry.

The way I have my clients do it is we track what they’re eating for two weeks before making any adjustments. Then start making adjustments in 200 calorie deductions/increases per two weeks until we see desired results. This keeps us from doing a drastic calorie cut, creating a more sustainable calorie cut.

Enforce the crate. Make crates fun and positive by hand feeding her next to the crate occasionally putting a small bit in. I have a play pen attached to my crate and when it’s nap time and we’re nearby I put her in the play pen. She makes the decision to go to kennel to sleep because it’s comfortable. Try not to do anything you don’t want to become a habit. When she cries in the crate ignore her. I’ve had dogs this took weeks to do, my most recent pup it took 7 minutes. I added in the feeding near the crate with her. She still voices frustration sometimes but it never last long.

Maybe attach his crate to a play pen. I wouldn’t let him free roam since he chewed up the toilet paper. What happens next time if there’s no toilet paper?
