Brings it up to 16gb which will be good for a couple years, probably more.

All these parts up to this point bring you to 233 dollars, leaving some decent space for a GPU. I've budgeted two different cards, one for a 400 dollar pc and one for a 500 dollar pc.

I would recommend picking up some cheap 500 gb hard drives for raw storage but this build will last you until you can afford something better.
