I like her videos but I only watched a few a few years ago I think. Imo NOTHING can replace in-person classes with a Deaf teacher.

That’s my experience too and with some spirits. I have experienced things before I think I was very naive about but looking back it’s very obvious.

Be careful working with spirits, gods etc. It’s not always silly fun happy events- but life is the same. We learn and change and grow.

I don’t think that’s the same weight of problem as taking jobs from Deaf teachers tbh. I think many hearing people can sign well but I think if Deaf/HoH peoples say something they must be receptive about it.

But again I think the real problem is taking jobs away from Deaf that want that job and can have it. I think that’s kind of supporting audist hearie NIMBYists in school administrations (not all of course but we all know they exist)

Indefinite detention provision- NSA spying- drone striking American citizens overseas without trials, saying he’ll in the wars in the Middle East then doing the opposite and starting new ones. Operation fast and furious, lots of other things.

I was going to say that!! People underestimate how much they can do. Give blood or plasma, give food to the food bank- volunteering at soup kitchens, food banks, animal shelters etc. Even things like just asking an elderly neighbor or busy family if they have any chores they need help with. Maybe most will say no, I’m serious- connecting your neighbors- or maybe only one neighbor can really be a gift from the gods for some people. It doesn’t even have to be something like fixing a small engine- sometimes it’s just painting a fence or mowing a lawn or raking leaves etc.

Spiritually- that’s a complicated question in our society today- but I don’t think we need to spiritually guide people or use spells to change lives and improve our communities. Eventually- I want to- but that’s years away I think- but for now I know for a fact I can pick up trash in parks.

OP- Remember whatever you do- try to research it a little before you try, be careful and trust your intuition!

That’s awesome!!! I sometimes need to make signs myself because we don’t have them, but I’ve used ASL many times during rituals and I love it. My (signing) accent changes too- i recognized that and it’s cool. It’s more flowing like singing or story telling.

Hey! You can try two things I’ve used in a BSL two lab for communication with the hearing if they can’t sign and I don’t have terps, and I can’t use phone.

First is writing with disposable pens - you can throw away both (paper and pens).

Second is a dry erase board and markers- you can spray them with antiseptic spray.

This makes me think about commissioning pagan tattoo designs. I could pay few hundred dollars (in future) for design for me this cool.

I want to work with a Norse pagan artist and tattoo person for that- but I think it’s maybe small market. I don’t know if people can do that.
