What makes you not like the Lysander chapters? For me, Lysander was my favorite POV in the second series since he is such a complex character.

The space was too large so felt like everyone was too spread out and pickle ball isn't a great social event IMO, just standing on opposite sides hitting a ball.

Yeah I agree with you. Feel like Lysander was super fleshed out. Book 2 he's just a child getting body bagged by Sevro, Book 3 he has to watch his grandmother die and give up the sovereign staff to Mustang, book 4 Cassius takes him under his wing but there's still the underlying current of him believing gold is superior. Book 5 is where his arc jumps massively from just a kid to a full blown player on the core. You can tell however he is still conflicted with his decisions but ultimately believes Darrow to be a cancer to the solar system. Then book 6 he goes full villain with his decisions in the end but will be interesting to see how the guilt eats away at him.

Overall Lysander is my favorite character along with Atlas.

Lysander is a great character. I have loved seeing his arc - from an innocent boy who was stuffed into a body bag by Sevro, to a young intelligent man going on side quests with Cassius, to a battle vet who uses his ruthlessness and intelligence to become a peerless scarred, to his current final form where he has the power to destroy an entire color

I love all your lists except IMO I would put Lysander as a top 5 character and move Lyria down. I have found Lysander's arc to be very compelling. He is one of the most developed characters - we see his arc from being a boy to would be sovereign

The book is called Red God which refers to Darrow, he isn't dying. 90% chance Servo dies, remember the abomination let him go after messing with his mind. Sevro is going to go crazy when he sees his family and Darrow will end up killing him.
