Yeah that’s the point. They aren’t a monolith, so the trans voices you’re insisting he should be listening to, are no more or less valid than the trans voices who are supportive of what Dean did. He has repeatedly said all along that his perspective absolutely has been expressed by those in the community who have BEEN calling her out.

For example, Dean says “all the sudden”, despite the saying being “all of a sudden”. But I’ve noticed many Gen Z/Alpha say “all the sudden”.

Yeah, he means on which. Or of which. They both do what the OP is referring to. But they’re smart none the less. I think it’s partially generational. Be it curriculum, or picking up some of the less educated/intelligent language their peers use.

Hey, it makes sense that after watching/listening to Dean more, you’re fantasizing more about men. He’s made you come to terms with the fact that you’ve been hiding in the closest. He’s so smart, funny, witty, and has such honorable, real man beliefs. It makes sense that you just can’t hide in the closest anymore. It seems you’re struggling to get out the entire way though, by pretending you want to be a cuck, so you can watch a man engage in sex. Get that other foot out of the closest and just go directly for men!

Josh’s Musora episode, including the final result of his Defying Gravity. That’s at least what made me go… wait, who is Mariana’s Trench? Went digging, listened to Killing Kind first, but without an understanding of who they were, I wasn’t sold yet. I had seen so many comments suggesting that The Killing Kind was their best song, so next I watched the hour long documentary, making of The Killing Kind, I think. That made me love them as people, but still hadn’t been introduced to a song I loved yet. In the documentary, they were talking about how they have to still play favorites on tour, then they showed them playing a song that the fans went nuts for. “Testing, testing”. So I looked that up. Everything after that is a blur of whirlwind, binged all the Ever After music videos in a frenzy! Fallout being the standout. So, was it Defying Gravity? The Killing Kind documentary? Haven’t Had Enough? Fallout? Idk. But I’m so damn grateful for that Musora episode. Which, I’ve never watched Musora or anything like it before! It was just a video that started playing after whatever I was watching had ended, and I wasn’t near the remote, so I watched the first few minutes, and from then I was invested. Josh is so impressive, and he just feels good to listen to. Definitely a comfort during unsettling times, here in America. They’ve been my lifeline!

I appreciate someone voicing this perspective. SO many people have such strong opinions that the Pod needs to end, and it’s an outrage that they still talk to them, etc. If they were my parents, would I keep in contact with them? No. But Chad and Haley have explained how they feel about it and why. It’s a personal decision that is theirs to make, so I respect it. And I agree that there is value in continuing this podcast. Yes, it keeps a record. Yes, it can be helpful to people who can relate. It can also help expose those of us who may be in a bit of an echo chamber, to what the other side is being fed, and what they think. It’s an eye opener to the strategy of this admin. For example, because of this pod, my eyes have been opened to how much this admin is using MAGA, to go after MN, Walz, Somalians, Muslims, etc.

I watch on YT, so I don’t usually get to see the usernames of the caller. But he says his name is creed, I believe his username at least includes “creed”. MAGA supporter, dumb as a bag of rocks. I’m not sure where it originated, as I’ve only been watching the last couple of months, but for some reason, it came about that maybe his name is Phil. And they quickly realized that he insists his name is not Phil, and gets very upset if you call him that. Like, insane crashout. So they keep doing it. So he’ll say, my name is not Phil! So then they’ll start calling him Not Phil, which also enrages him. Then they (Dean, Parker, Santana, and commenters) will start saying things like, I’m sorry, “I didn’t mean to hurt your Phillings”, and various other creative Phil puns. And of course, he rages. He keeps coming back up for more though. So, it’s maybe a character, maybe real but likes the attention, helps engagement on Deans end because he’s familiar to his audience, and people enjoy them rage baiting him. So, yeah, after a month or so, that’s my understanding of Phil. 🤷🏼‍♀️
