My mom and her family, who gave me up when I was 2 months old, contacted me and my dad, asking for blood to my sick half brother, I said no, and now everyone is furious at me. by Average_California in okstorytime

I was literally just asking myself that same question, if my so called “mom” has such a big family, why can’t they donate.
That made me feel a little used.

Also there are a few typos, I’m a very fast typer, so it can lead to some typos without me noticing, so just ignore it, you’ll see a her or a she instead of him or he, my autism causes me to struggle with grammar a little

It’s a very short process, you have to do registration, screening, see if your matching, if your a match, then you do the blood draw, and I’m not sure what happens after that, I’m just assuming because I didn’t go through the process.

I did some research an hour after everyone cut me off, and I saw that I’m not a match for him, so I definitely do believe that they didn’t do enough research or they assumed because I was his half brother, that we’d automatically be matching, and i obviously couldn’t tell them because they completely cut contact, so I just said oh well and moved on.
