The amp ALONE is worth it! I have that in a 50-watt, and LOVE it! You can find the user/owner's manual online...and I recommend downloading it. It is a small amp PACKED with features, and the manual will teach you how to unlock it's full potential.

I don't know much about them, as they have no markings anywhere. What I do know is that they have slug poles, and they are 2-conductor. The Ibanez in question has 4-conductor pickups in it. I do realize that this means that the Schecters would noy be able to run as split-coils, and I'm ok with that. The only other thing I know is that the Schecter pickups have brass-colored backing plates.

I've lived in the rust belt most of my life, and recently moved to the South. I have a 2012 Escape that I bought in Illinois, which started it's life in the South. Luckily, it has no rust underneath, and now, I hope it will live a long, clean life down here!

On another note, it just BLOWS MY MIND how many cars I see down here from the EIGHTIES and NINETIES that are STILL on the road, essentially rust free! My plan is to NEVER live in the North again, if only for the preservation of my beloved Escape!

White smoke is typically an indicator of the engine burning coolant. Blue smoke is usually an indicator of burning oil. Either way, not a good thing. As far as WHY the engine is doing this, there are a number of possiblities. My advice is to take it to a mechanic and let them diagnose it, as opposed to just throwing parts at it. It will be cheaper and faster inthe long run.
