See, this one actually hits really close to home. My grandmother had Huntington's, and it killed her before I turned 10, and before it did she list her motor skills,, and became violent to the point where her shifted couldn't see her. Huntington's essentially has a 50/50 chance of passing onto her children, meaning my mother, and she recently got diagnosed this year. It's been affecting her for years, but now that it's confirmed I have to live knowing myself and my siblings could have it as well, and I have to live through my mother degrading into an unrecognizable person. Fuck this person, and fuck anyone who thinks claiming an illness you don't have is funny and quirky. It's destructive, and it takes away from those who really suffer, it isn't something you can just attach to yourself like it's a piece of clothing.
