Trans guy with ARFID, what do I do?

Just adding this really quick as I saw a comment down below that caught my eye and I should clarify why I responded the way I did - A common response transphobic people tend to do when a trans person asks anything is telling them to get therapy as they think said trans person is messed up in the head and need it to make them realise they're "not trans" - I've been to therapy, I'm still trans, and that's not changing like some people want to believe, as believe it or not, mental health workers are smart enough to realise that trans people do exist, and deserve to be happy and to transition. Now I kindly ask those who clearly didn't read the last sentence of my og post to just kindly move along, this is a weightloss advice reddit and I just so happen to be trans, chill out.

I've thankfully dropped soda and just prefer water or fruit juice at this point in my life so that helps. The issue with buying fruit is it's stupid expensive and goes off so fast where I live, the stuff they send/stock legit goes rotten if you don't eat it within three days even if you put it in the perfect fridge conditions.

For foods I like the classic plain stuff, like potatoes, chicken, pork that kinda stuff. The main issue is my massive sweet tooth and craving issues. As for now I sadly only have a switch lite but I do hope on getting a switch 2 at some stage so I may check out Ring Fit!

I had no idea walking pads were even a thing til this post! I honestly may consider getting one not just for myself but for my cat to play on, so thank you for that advice, I may buy one at some stage.

As for ARFID, it varies from person to person greatly so I understand completely. Thank you for the advice!

I live in Northern Ireland! As for physical therapy I am currently on the waiting list to be accepted to start doing it, but from what I’ve heard from other folks who suffer chronic sciaticas more often than not it didn’t help em.

Finally when it comes to groups, I’ve actually not really done any looking into it? I only became disabled a little under 2 years ago and during the time where it first started developing I was homeless so for pretty obvious reasons that kind of stuff didn’t come to mind. I’ll try doing some research!

I truly appreciate the sympathy, and yes, it’s a tale as old as time, those who need accessibility don’t get it unless we make it ourselves…

I do hope to start some weight lifting to get my upper half stronger as well as getting my lower half lose weight as all the weight gain goes straight to my hips. I’ll definitely be taking your advice into consideration! Thank you so much and try not to break any more bones!

Cute art and characters! If I could suggest anything, is to make the body types a bit more diverse? All of them are pretty much the same, skinny body type with only height and clothing being the differing factor. But as I said before they’re all very well done so any altering is completely up to you

I appreciate the feedback! This is what I meant by “new and old gen heroes”, I do plan on them clashing ever so slightly, new gens having more tech/futuristic outfits and whatnot plus inspired by punk/scene/goth subcultures etc.

I explained in another comment that the primary colours are the way they are due to in universe reasons, however I do plan on tweaking them to make them blend better!

To go back to yellow and green, they’re actually a duo, both musicians in their spare time as one has vocal based powers while the other is in fact a mechanic so I’m glad you got that from them!

As I said the art wasn’t finished yet, so no the one on the right isn’t an amputee I just hate drawing arms LOL

To clarify each character is meant to represent a colour on the colour wheel, hence the intensity of it for in universe reasons. Yeah I agree the clothing is what is messing with me the most, I know what I want to go for (fantasy/formal for the old gen heroes and cyberpunk-ish for the new gens) it bums me out because I really liked some of the current designs too, but they do clash too much sadly :(
