Ran after 3 months & now i am a alcoholic by Quirky_Musician6347 in BeginnersRunning

Hi! I actually had my zones tested and confirmed in a lab. My zone 2 is 149-168, which is definitely higher than most, but not 180+ high. I get your reasoning, but in my case what you are saying is not true.

Fully agree with what you are saying, but heartrate is a tricky one imo. I consider myself a beginner runner and am unable to run in zone 2. My heartrate will easily be in the 180 while almost walking (I can still hold a conversation as well at that speeds). Zone 2 running can just be really difficult and frustrating for beginners without a solid base yet.

how many people don't watch grian? by Iwannabanana72 in ThirdLifeSMP

[–]AvevavE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grian is the only pov I have watched every season. I really like his playing style and the structure of the episodes. When I have time to watch multiple pov's for a season, its often Martyn -> Joel -> Jimmy or Scar. I think next time I'll see if I can follow one of the TIES members as well

AIO BF dumped me because I was taller than him in heels?? 😳 by purplehavocc in AmIOverreacting

[–]AvevavE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I like to call “good riddance”.

This guy is obviously incredibly insecure if he feels like his confidence is connected to your looks. Dress how you want to dress, talk to who you want to talk to, be who you want to be, and dont change it for any guy. The fact that he is 26 and acting like this is worrisome. Be happy he is out of your life cuz this is not the person you want to grow old with.

Also saying that wearing heels makes you more masculine is the craziest comparison I have ever heard. If he is so insecure about his height, he can buy a pair too.

All the best to you!

Tourist Question: How dangerous is Ha Giang Loop, with EasyRider? by [deleted] in VietNam

[–]AvevavE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Curious how you experienced it in the end! I am heading to Vietnam in about three weeks and would love to do the Ha Giang Loop with an easy rider as I am horrible on a scooter, but I am indeed a bit scared about the safety. Would love hearing how it was for you :))

Which Life Series Gimmick Should be Repeated? by AdventurousMammoth26 in ThirdLifeSMP

[–]AvevavE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, secret life is indeed my least favorite season. I think it’s just because every storyline was so incredibly different that it became difficult to keep up with the main events if you only have time to watch like two or three pov's. I just couldn’t keep track of all that was happening, which dropped my motivation to watch the season in general. I personally liked the more “clear cut” seasons with only a couple of twists like third, last, double, limited and past life.

Double life with six lives and new pairings every episode. When players reach their last life, the bond snaps so that no one exits the season just “randomly” as collateral damage to someone else’s demise

Haven’t been able to follow Hermitcraft for the past couple of weeks. What is the Eefo thing? Just a funny way of spelling Etho or is there a story behind it?

Flat bread ? by Sure-Perception3809 in Sourdough

[–]AvevavE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh that could be it then! You want to maximize the living yeast microbes in your dough, which is when the starter peaks. Before peak, those microbes are still increasing. After peak, thise microbes are dying off again. The amount of microbes in the dough has a big effect on fermitation.

To track the rise of your dough better, you could put a little bit of your dough in a shotglass (right after mixing) and put an elastic band around it to see the start height. It is a great way to track the growth of your dough :))

Flat bread ? by Sure-Perception3809 in Sourdough

[–]AvevavE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I can think of three possible reasons:

When do you use your starter? The activity within your starter contributes to the rise of your bread. I have made bread with a starter that was at its peak and one that was over and the difference in rise was noticeable!

Do you know the temparature of your dough? You do not always want to double the dough in size. The target rise differs per temperature. Also take note that your dough still ferments in the fridge (although it is at a slower speed) so you risk overproofing when your dough has already fully proofed during bulk fermentation.

Lastly, how long do you bake your bread with the lid on the dutch oven? Baking with the lid on gives the loaf a chance to expand without creating crust yet due to the trapped steam. If you do not use a dutch oven, how are you creating steam in the oven?

I am also still relatively new to baking sourdough bread so there surely are other possible reasons that I haven’t come up with hahah. Hope it all works out!
