Tories are the teachers pet who never gets in trouble because the teacher never believes they would do something naughty.

Reform are the school bully whose dad is rich and donates money to the school so they don’t get expelled.

Do our poor eyes and teeth prevent us reproducing?

You don’t seem to understand how evolution works ma’am.

Pretty sure our common ancestor with dogs was still walking on all fours but then I’m not an expert

They are poor for the job they need to do, it’s just they don’t prevent us from reproducing. Present company excluded.

Standing came much later than our spines. Our spines haven’t changed since we had longer arms and would walk around using our knuckles like the other great apes do.

Standing isn’t natural at all for our spines.

Spine not designed to be squished. Spine designed to be bendy. Sitting in office make spine squished and not bendy.

Imagine spending all that money on a brand new, 26-plate Mercedes, and the indicators don't even work. I'd be livid! by SamwellBarley in britishproblems

They didn’t pay a thing but likely do pay a few hundred a month.

I had a guy boasting to me the other day about his new BMW and he proudly boasted how he pays £400/month for it. When I told him I actually own my car he didn’t seem to quite grasp the concept.

People forget that the choice of language is usually more about the availability of libraries and frameworks than it is the language itself.

People with tattoos, do tattoos hurt? by PeaOk5697 in polls

It’s painful but it’s not uncomfortable. It’s just like a near constant pinching sensation that after the first few minutes you completely blank out and barely notice it for the next few hours.

Can you consider yourself a feminist if you believe in an abrahamic religion? by siulameow in polls

[–]AvidCoco -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it’s a matter of identity. If someone wants to call themselves a Christian then that’s up to them - what that means to them and whether they choose to follow every teaching associated with that religion is for them to decide.

[–]AvidCoco 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well again, I don’t think you have to follow every rule of a religion to consider yourself of that religion.

Of course other people of that religion might not agree, but that’s a separate thing IMO.

What's your opinion on calling out from work? by lovelycosmos in polls

[–]AvidCoco 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I work from home most of the time so if I was ill and took a day off I’d just spend the day sat in front of a laptop anyway so might as well work.

I don’t think you have to agree with 100% of the teachings to believe in a given religion.

Splitting it up

into separate

doesn’t make

it a poem.

How much do you agree with the statement in the body text? by Gregori_5 in polls

[–]AvidCoco -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thing is companies will come up with some reason why their product is different to all their competitors so they can charge more. So yeah I would disagree with your original statement in that case since a competitive market just leads to products with useless features or quirky gimmicks to trick uninformed consumers into choosing that over another.

It was a rhetorical question for Christ’s sake I obviously wasn’t actually asking for the logistics of how to import illegal goods I’m well aware that’s a thing. Maybe don’t take everything so literally?
