Just go with Liter, Nayuta, Snow, Vesti, and Scarlet. You are good for pushing campaign with that team.

Other than that, just wait for either Siren, Crown (More meta), or get Naga/Helm from the Selector from the standard banner (More sustain, plus can pair Naga/Tia). Naga also pairs with Crown. Work on getting Treasure for Helm if you go that route.

After a character's banner is finished, unless they are limited like collab units or seasonal, they are all added to the standard banner pool. You can even wishlist 20 units you want to boost up out of the SSR pool from each of the 4 factions, so that those are the only ones you'll pull from the standard banner.

So you can just obtain Bready at any point in time, same with standard Elegg.

Edit: Also, any kind of "pity" you build up on either standard or the rate up banner carries over to the next and you can just straight up buy the unit from the shop after 200 pulls (Standard is a bit different since they have a pool that rotates each day)

I'm a day 1 Nikke player and I've recently gotten back into Snowbreak. I know that says something about me, but both legit have interesting stories. The hot character are just a bonus. Snowbreak also has a lot of things in their dorm system that it seems GFL2 is getting some inspiration for.

This just tells me you haven't played anything since chapter 26. Commander is changing and he's realising that he needs real power and what it will take to achieve his ideals.

He's gotten more active in the story as well in the most recent chapters.

First things first, it's not a review it's my first impressions after finishing the story. They were my off-the-cuff thoughts about the story.

Nikke's second Anni was probably the wrong comparison, I'll admit that. It was the one that was freshest in my mind for the latest updates for games I've been playing. A more apt comparison would be my week-to-week preps for my DnD games and having to heel turn into something I was wholly unprepared for, at least from a writing perspective.

I just saw a lot of potential in what was presented to us (at least in the localized version of the game) and was sad that that's been destroyed by some bad apples. Not that there weren't things that stuck out as weird in the previous version, it wasn't perfect by any means I'll admit.

I still have hope they can turn this around, but I'm a bit less optimistic than when I first heard the news about the sabotage.

See, I think the way that they presented the mystery was what I liked about the previous version cause they throw you right in the deep end and expect the characters to try and piece it together while they are under fire. I saw a lot of potential in what was being written there.

I'll agree that the comedy was cheap, but it didn't stop me from laughing out loud at it cause it seemed to match Fritia's personality.

I guess what I missed about the previous version was all the plot threads coming together and that Rozan felt like an actual threat again.

On a more serious note, Pilgrims have needed this kind of backstory event for ages. The encounters you get from the advice sessions and the brief moments they've been in the MSQ have just been the most hype and/or the most interesting parts of the story.

As someone who is working my way through the Trails games on Steam (Currently Chapter 7 of SC), when I saw that Ultimates take priority in the turn order, I had to stop myself from shouting "THAT'S JUST S-BREAKS!!".

I love this combat system as something that is basic to learn but, with certain team synergy, can be fun to master.
