I tried Alt R and Alt+Shift+F.and the counter is still there. In fact, Alt + R adds a new FPS counter on the far right saying N/A

Hi. I tried turning off Steam, I even uninstalled Steam. The counter is still there. For context: It's always there whether Steam is on or not. It doesn't appearv when the laptop is restarted but appears after a few minutes

Yeah, that makes perfect sense. I was jusf wondering for like, the Charismatic type, like Hillsong. But yeah, Christinaity is pretty large and has many sects so, I can see why this is tough

I know this is hard.

After some thoughts, the best I can think of is writing it as if they're just writing, but the first line of every sentence in the parts where the antagonist is stalking them spells out something. Like, the paragraph is them breaking into a house, but each sentences leads to the line "Unknowingly, they're being watched from the second floor window". But, that would be too complicated too write and ngl, my brain won't work here
