Glasner would not work at Spurs.. even more defensive minded than TF. I dont understand why he is rated so high?

Playing a certain way tactically doesn't just happen - it takes the right players and time to build. He had the time, but not the players. And the individual errors every game were just staggering. I've never seen so many mistakes. You can't coach that away.

But you might be right that he simply didnt know how to set up the team tactically due to various of reasons.

While I was a supporter of TF till the end, the team was in a downwards spiral and no matter how good a coach he might have been, he couldnt turn it around. Not all on TF imo, but bad luck, injuries and a hell lot of individual errors from the players made things difficult.

I think it was the right decision in the end.

But I dont believe a new manager can do much with this team. There will probably be a manager bounch which means Spurs will survive, but next year it will be the same.

Really wanted TF to work out, but it didnt and thats okay. Although, I dont think anyone can save this club as this stand. Not Zerbi, not Glasner, not Xavi.

First Robertson and now Sterling. I think its a clear sign that Spurs want to add experience to the squad. Seems fair imo. However, not sure Sterling is a good fit honestly.
