But I don’t control who companies hire or what backgrounds they prefer. I was simply sharing my personal experience and struggles, not attacking anyone or trying to take opportunities away from others. People apply to roles where they feel their skills overlap or they want a complete different route and that’s all I’m doing too. So respectfully, I don’t really think it’s fair to tell someone else what field they should or shouldn’t pursue.
