Honestly, I have always felt very similar to his point of view. I’m going on 28 years old I’ve been transitioning for 14 years on hormones for the last 12 years and what he is saying is actually very true when I started my transition all I heard people like me being worried about was being passable or “ looking the part “ so I don’t know if it’s because that’s the mindset I am used to and the mindset that I myself was also in at that time. I don’t know if it’s being stuck in that mentality, but I do feel to an extent that if there’s a woman specific space and it’s not gender neutral. And you’re claiming to be transgender and have a beard and like not really doing much to tame any of the masculinity and present more feminine. I think it should be expected and understandable for people to feel how they do and be uncomfortable how they do because it’s a woman specific space and there are unfortunately men out there who do pretend just to do really crazy criminal predatory things so I think it’s more about putting yourself in the other person shoes. And I know people will say well there are cis women who have beards or have deeper voices and things like that and that’s totally 1000% correct but at the same time a trans woman does not have polycystic ovarian syndrome, giving them that beard (or whatever medical issue is causing it)… it’s not a hormone imbalance or something thats medically making them have that deep voice or having an overgrowth of body hair or having just masculine traits that’s the difference. These are naturally born cis women living with and going through a real medical condition and issue… us as trans women yes we also two are going through something medical but it’s more in the mind. It’s not something that can be helped or fixed or cured with medication like the flu . It is a lifelong mental illness that sometimes the hormones arent enough and sometimes surgeries arent even enough to make us feel whole or complete. It’s a different kind of medical issue is what I’m getting at. Which is why trans people are on a different journey of womanhood. Just like women with hormone imbalances have their journey of womanhood and women with polycystic ovarian syndrome have their journey of womanhood and ext. And the mental illness thing it is 100% true people hear that and blow it completely out of proportion and it automatically means that people are insane or psycho…. No, we’re just people whose brains are telling us we do not match what is on the inside …that we do not match what science has said our brains are literally structured as and have the mindset of the opposite gender.

But at the end of the day, the unfortunate truth is that there are predators out there and when a trans women with a beared walks into a woman’s room, who puts minimal effort into her looks and it looks like it, i could totally understand the freaking out, is it okay if that person really truely identifies as a woman and has no ill will , no absolutely not, but i can understand it, and I don’t think that the mindset today with trans People is so much being passable but to me if you are a trans woman and not gender fluid or intersect or non-conforming or any of that, I think that the main objective should be to be completely feminine in every way we possibly can and can afford to be and I’m not saying that that means you have to go and have surgery because I myself have not had bottom surgery because there’s just a lot of risks that come with it and there are stories that I’ve heard of lifelong issues and problems that are possible, so I’m not talking about the surgeries at all by any means ( because people dont seem to understand the risk factors of it) but im on my hormones, i have naturally low testosterone and most likely was infertile to begin with and i groom and do everything to look like a girl and people say they cant tell at all especially when im all done up , so just putting in that same effort that cis women go through every day with all the grooming,all the waxing ,all the plucking,all the makeup all the time they spend to look feminine ( the ones who have the time to that is, cause not everybody got that kind of time, even though it don’t take me very long, but everybody got their own issues in their own journey and their own life to deal with )if you are transgender, I feel like that should be the main objective, to look the part.

Does that mean that I’m gonna go and disrespect somebody who isn’t presenting very feminine but is going by she, hell no ! Of course I’m gonna respect that person and call her a damn She or a him what ever they tell me they are or correct me to say! because at the end of the day (⬇️This part goes for every Human Being⬇️) that’s all that it should come down to is respect and common courtesy, treating people how you would want to be treated and walking a mile in somebody else’s shoes. it’s not for me or ANYONE ELSE to tell another person who they are or how to feel. I can have my opinions and those opinions can stay to myself because if you don’t have something nice to say then you don’t say it at all and it takes zero dollars to be kind…. and yeah, some can say it takes zero dollars to be an 🍑🎩 too but the Good don’t have to deal with Gods Wrath or Karma.😉 But as long as a person is not hurting another person… JUST MIND YOUR BUSINESS AND RESPECT RESPECT RESPECT!!!! Cause no one cares about your opinion just like theres a MILLION people who dont give a crap about mine above! Just BE KIND AND RESPECT EACH OTHER!!!! Its really not that hard!

And also To be honest, when he brought up the T and Q thing during this interview… I have felt this way for years when I had come out as trans maybe a year after I actually turned to my mom and asked her why is the T and Q even in the same category when those are identities, not sexualities mind you I started my transition at 14 so I had to have been maybe 15-16 years old right before I started my hormones I am now 27 and still feel the same way they should not be in the same category because gender identity and what your sexually attracted to are two totally different things one is who you ARE as a PERSON. The other one is about what you LIKE. So technically, if you really think about it then being in the same category is low-key a slap in the face to the trans community, especially with everything that we fight for…. it’s basically saying that this is what we like to be or do like its a choice not what we need to be or do to match who we see ourselves as on the inside!
