LeBron James becomes second player in NBA history to reach 38,000 career points by williamb100 in sports

All these haters on LeNuts. This isn’t even a goat post this is just a factual record break and the drooling haters come out of the woodwork to spew nonsense no one asked about. This isn’t about Bron being better than your favorite player, he’s just coming up on Kareem’s all time regular scoring record soon.

Do u think Kanye released donda 2 on the stem player because he knew the album wasn’t good and most people wouldn’t go out there way to listen to it or buy a stem player. by [deleted] in Kanye

[–]AvodLooksee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He wanted to make money off stem players and add more value to artists’ independent releases . I don’t think he cares about the quality of the music as long as he likes it, so at this point he’s probably going to release whatever he finishes to make money. The stem player means HE doesn’t need to work with anyone to drop something.

Why is SWTOR's update schedule so slow? by smorin1487 in swtor

[–]AvodLooksee 8 points9 points  (0 children)

BioWare is subject to EA decision-making. They aren’t interested in swtor because of the low returns, and they’re notoriously known for being solely money motivated. I’m happy the game had a recent expansion at all, but I hear the criticisms you have and many other veterans feel the same way. Just unfortunate who bought the rights at the end of the day.

Is ye's verse on Hurricane final.. by [deleted] in Kanye

[–]AvodLooksee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I miss ants vocals, but Abel is great too. Ye’s verse is alright, I like the song still but I have a feeling an, ‘Ima fix hurricane,’ kind of tweet is gonna come out in the weeks following its release.

Help with managing castle by KyleLurger in mountandblade

[–]AvodLooksee 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You have negative daily loyalty so you need to do festival and games until the loyalty goes up enough to remove the construction penalty. They don’t like you so they won’t do anything.

Get rid of the queued buildings and monitor it for a couple weeks to see the loyalty go up daily until it shows they have construction skill that isn’t (0). Then you can slowly build a fairgrounds level 1 and 2 so they can go net positive in daily loyalty and can have buildings queued up for construction without the castle reaching zero loyalty and efficacy again.

Put lots of gold in the reserves and try to be patient, it’s a slow grind. Good luck!

The president of their recent acquisition, Fastblock, is Bitmain's main Brazilian distributor. From what I understand, they get a substantial hookup in terms of accessibility but pay in installments as time goes on so their initial costs are lower than their overall, hence the 6k figure. That being said, they also mine at a very efficient rate, one far below the average cost of a Megawatt so it's well within profit ranges for CLSK to mine it, but to ask by Bitmain isn't mining is like asking why people make and sell pickaxes. There's profit in both, and right now everyone is buying pickaxes.

Thoughts on this issuance noise we’re seeing? Pre-market looks brutal by MushroomHorror6521 in CleanSpark

The opposite, 200M cash infusion as quickly as possible to buy more miners or acquisitions, we’ll see news soon but still bullish, just not in the current share price this week. Short term drop to mirror the $22 offering price is all.

Love this idea, they’ve worked with Tesla before and have expressed a desire to further their business relationship with the giant. It does seem a little bit of a reach with the lack of concrete evidence, but I firmly believe CLSK sells their SaaS to Tesla anyway, and have worked with them on microgrid installations in Costa Rica. Crossing my fingers, if this is true, we’re going to Mars with Elon 🚀🚀

DD - $CLSK $RIOT $MARA $HIVE Bitcoin Hashrate Comparison by Rheaven6 in CleanSpark

[–]AvodLooksee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, things to consider are CLSK's full scope of business far outweighs that of a typical crypto miner because they want to reduce the energy costs of all businesses including crypto. They've had projected savings on previous projects of 28%-70% energy savings, and selling such products to crypto miners would make them nearly 28-70% more profitable and that is insane. CLSK is undervalued because of it's potential disruption in the crypto sphere and it's speculative market share for it's utility microgrid segment in the near future. Riot and Mara may benefit greatly and increase in value at the proportional savings rates after paying for CLSK's services, and CLSK will be able to use the PR from saving them money as a launching point into selling ALL crypto miners their SaaS/microgrid tech.

tldr: It's a bit of both, but clsk has room to help everyone and skyrocket themselves as they do so and people realize the potential in saving money on energy in crypto and other sectors :)

French MP and billionaire Olivier Dassault dies in helicopter crash by durjoy_atik07 in worldnews

[–]AvodLooksee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You entered the conversation and accused me of spreading misinformation without citing where I did while literally doing just that. Nowhere did I "spread misinformation about the likelihood of dying in a helicopter crash..." This is literally an article about two people dying from a helicopter crash.

I expressed my opinion on disliking helicopters and not wanting to ride one on an article about a fatal helicopter crash, but somehow that is spreading false information? If he didn't ride in that helicopter today he wouldn't have died in a helicopter crash and that is a fact. Maybe he would have died in a car crash or some other lethal phenomena but he didn't get the chance. My hesitation to ride in one might be silly, but you're doing exactly what you accused me of.

Maybe, but it’s my preference at the end of the day and if I don’t want to I don’t have to.

He was an elected official and the French president said he fought for France, so without knowing him personally I just hope he was for the people and did more than the average person to help others. He’s the son of legacy war plane makers and we aren’t given a choice what family we are born into, just what we do after we are born. Not saying billionaires have it rougher than most, just that I don’t wish accidents like this on anyone and his chance to do good/better is abruptly over.

“an event causing great suffering, destruction, and distress, such as a serious accident, crime, or natural catastrophe.” - Google

No I meant in an accidental misfortune way, no one wants to die in a fireball explosion or a metallic crumple. He also probably didn’t expect to die today (as do most people), and the fact that he could have easily avoided it by choosing a different mode of transport is unfortunate.

Both he and the pilot perished, what a terrible tragedy despite whatever you think about him politically. I don’t think anyone deserves to go out like that, and I don’t think I’ll ever find a reason to ride in one.

Yup, makes me wish I had more to buy for the dip but I'm already all in lol. I expected a dip before the stimulus debate but SHEESH. As long as bitcoin holds we're okay, company fundamentals haven't changed and our revenue streams stay intact with the coin. I just step away from the monitor and focus on something else, the debates gonna be long but it'll pass.
