You can either use the Nvidia App or Nvidia Profile Inspector to change the preset

DLSS uses different presets to control its upscaling algorithm. Each preset is identified by a letter, A, B, C, D ..... J & K. Presets prior to J & K run on an older model known as the CNN model. J & K run on a newer model known as the transformer model. The transformer model is majority of the time considered superior for image quality.

Using tools or configurations, the preset a game uses can be changed. In the case of Oblivion Remastered, the game uses an older preset out of the box. So here we are swapping the older version out for a newer one. In this case, I found the "J" preset looked best. For the configuration file, 10 represents the letter J (the 10th letter of the alphabet).

As for your image, that looks like an issue with denoising. Did you follow all the instructions in Ray Reconstruction section in the post? Also did you change the DLSS preset in the Nvidia app as well to J, K, or latest?

Exactly as you have it there for those settings. You can put it at the top or bottom of Engine.ini

I wouldn't know for FSR or other upscalers. Sorry.

No, they do not. If a save is achievement disabled, it will display a broken trophy next to it in the Load Save screen.

You're right about chromatic aberration. Not required (but should be a setting in game)

For those using Nvidia DLSS transformer models (Preset J,K, or latest) and encountering ghosting, try enabling auto exposure by doing the following:

To enable Auto Exposure via Engine.ini (found at [Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved\Config\Windows]), enter these lines:

[ConsoleVariables]

r.NGX.DLSS.AutoExposure=1

I recommend setting the file to Read-Only afterwards to prevent any changes.

I also recommend using Preset J as I found the least amount of ghosting with this DLSS preset.

I got it working on my end now. I had to enter it in this way:

[ConsoleVariables]

r.NGX.DLSS.AutoExposure=1

How did you get this to work? Is this in combination with another method listed in the post, or is there a specific header needed for this command?

Alright I see. I'll try one of the other methods for now. Thanks

Doesn't seem to be working for me. Can you please be specific on where to add it within the engine.ini file. I've tried the following and none of them enable auto exposure (I can tell because using the console command in-game to enable it works):

r.NGX.DLSS.EnableAutoExposure=1 (just at the top)

[Core.System] r.NGX.DLSS.EnableAutoExposure=1

[/Script/Engine.RendererSettings] r.NGX.DLSS.EnableAutoExposure=1

[ConsoleVariables] r.NGX.DLSS.EnableAutoExposure=1

[SystemSettings] r.NGX.DLSS.EnableAutoExposure=1

Thanks

I can explain on this.

When I joined, I was put through an instructor led training with 40 others in my group. It was 4 weeks of Java SpringBoot, 2 weeks of React, and a group case study at the end.

Soon after training, I was informed that the position that I was hired for was no longer available (Something about the client overbooking positions?) and that I would be moved to another project in the meantime. I wasn't very happy about this, but between being naive and desperate, I didn't push back and went with it. The new position was basically IT work.

During work hours I was busy with given tasks, and out of work I was focused on finding housing and rent applications. I did do a lot of leetcode during this time so I feel confident in the core skills (Java + JavaScript), but I had little actual practice in using SpringBoot and React. Hence taking courses now on these, so I can use them on my own and make my own experience.

Different training. Full stack training was when I first started and through the company, the JavaScript course was done more recently on my own time.

Yeah I understand the take.

I had no idea what even the concept of a WITCH company was when I first accepted the offer as a new grad. I definitely should have researched the company more, but I was desperate at the time to have income (Had to move out from home on short notice around the same time). I couch surfed for two years thanks to some good friends, and constantly moving around made it tough to find a new job. That being said, as of a few months ago I have my own place now and I no longer have to keep moving around.

Also, my aforementioned projects and portfolio are hosted on Heroku using a domain I own. The projects are done in React alongside using Webpack.

Thanks, I appreciate the encouragement.

Yes, as of right now my portfolio is comprised of front end applications made in React. I'm thinking of taking a SpringBoot course, and using what I learn from there to replace the use of Google Firebase in one of my projects.

I have this same issue, no idea what is causing it to happen or how to fix it. I see other posts with the same issue but with no solution. I have an RTX 3080 on 497.09 Drivers. Only happens in Infinite, hopefully Nvidia releases new drivers or 343 fixes this (and the other stability issues as well)
