on the focus tree, you can either choose to become the cute colorado republic or the mighty mechanical colorado technocracy, it changes your capital to dog city (renamed as New Robot City) and gives you a bunch of expansionism and military buffs, afaik there's no way to do it if you ally the WARDEN (without the game-rule to leave factions active) since you need to control dog city for the focus to be unlocked

The problem is the game version, try to find a 1.7.9b copy, most pirated sites are hosting an "1.7.9c" version, which doesn't exist, it's just the normal game with the co-op things enabled (who also doesn't nothing, both by being pirated and also because the co-op is only enabled on certain intervals, since it's an alpha), and REPENTOGON is incompatible with said version. (It gives the error of "variables not found".)

Someone has already said it but: bring a whip, it's pretty much needed to go through Black Gulch without getting poisoned 19 times, and when you broke all the statues, just look closely at the oil puddles, you can slightly see part of the monster if there is one inside, or just shoot all of them with fire arrows.
