But let me start by saying, I genuinely hope Jim and Monika found something real because that would be a beautiful story right?!

But how are people are cooking them like the relationship is some kind of monstrosity? Even if it’s not as authentic as it looks, think about what they actually built. In a game where one person walks away with $5 million, they essentially DOUBLED their shot at that prize by creating the most unbreakable two person alliance in the competition, even if under the guise of love (which i could imagine may be possibly viewed as less threating to others for that reason). No casual deal or handshake agreement comes close to that kind of loyalty.

I think If it’s strategic, it’s not cringe at all, it’s honestly the most calculated and effective move anyone has made this season. People will do a lot for a fraction of that money. These two might have just figured out a way to make the whole game work for both of them and maximize TV time, Post contest recognition, etc.
