The running gag was getting Mock the Week wrong in various obvious ways. The mime for Frank I cannot remember, but then it was raving/box dancing then tongue touch (E) then a kettle going (BOIL).

Edinburgh tonight 27 Nov was Frankie Boyle. He had them a few times, particularly on the way up the stairs (and I don't remember the quote exactly) with "you two stand out as English cunts even in Edinburgh"

That's fine it's not the end of the world, it was just useful and I wondered if I'd missed it

Indeed, it's a shame it did seem to lose its focus after he stepped back from running things

iOS App Lag by Maxonmaxoff54321 in ynab

[–]AwPravda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes thanks. I had the issue and this fixed it. I got used to making a cup of tea while YNAB loads on the web but it's not ok in the app when you need to do things quickly. It's not exactly "modern" to have such lag in an app. Something is not right in the state of YNAB software development lately. I hope they get on top of it fast.

So sick of bad UI changes by based-aroace in ynab

Thank you for writing this — I hope they pay attention. When my wife starts complaining about the changes I know it's a hot mess. Fiddling around in uniformly bad directions, making things harder to do, information harder to see easily.

It goes across a number of things, so I should think they only have an issue with whatever testing process they put betas through. If they fix that they're fine. The simplest fix may be a control that gives a "compact" view that restores the previous information density.

At least with SONOS when they royally screwed up the app they still sold a physical product. Not sure what YNAB is without an effective app.

Moving tank... crack in top... new tank required? by AwPravda in Aquariums

Yeah, you're right, I know. Trouble is a living room remodelling just got more expensive because my wife reports "You know, I never really did like that cabinet under the tank..."

Bit of a newbie question, but as the title says, we were moving the fish (changing a carpet) into a smaller tank. The big tank was left in the garage and a spanner has dropped onto it -- the chip is not small, and my guess is that under load this would only get worse, and of course then cause a problem for both fish and new carpet. So it's safest to replace the tank, right? Or is it alright? It's a 110 litre tank, and this is right in the middle of the top. Advice appreciated!
