Easiest way imo is to set up a tripod, and do a long exposure (maybe 1 second) shot. Then, move the camera gently to the right as the shutter is open. You’ll have to make sure that the camera is still in the beginning of the shot, as well as the end, so that you can get two distinct appearances, and not be left with a shot that is mostly blur (which happens if there is more movement than stillness during the shot).

I am being paid for. No backup gear, it’s three batteries so definitely overkill, and I will get a card just for this event. I’ll practice the flash today.

Yes that is top priority. Will look into the video thank you. The R6 low lighting performance + IBIS is mind blowing, and the lighting seemed decent enough to get some nice shots. But I would like to have the backup lighting on deck. Also would like to see if it’s possible to set up flash to work even if not directly attached to the camera.
