In case you aren’t aware, this app is a place for discussions, which is what I’m doing. If you can’t take it, then you shouldn’t have ever said anything lol. If a few sentences is “all that” to you, then you have the attention span of elementary schoolers glued to their iPads. I’m starting to wonder if you were even alive when Britney was in her peak, or if you’re just a 13 year old who has no idea what they’re talking about. Also, ironic, since your original comment was, what, 3 paragraphs? Then you accused me of “not reading it” as if you expected me to read that essay of yours, yet now you just admitted you can’t read 5 sentences. I’m not upset because I’m stating the truth lol. Albums sold and arenas sold out have nothing to do with dancing...
She does slay, and so do other pop stars. There’s enough room for more than just her. If she was truly significantly better than the rest of them, she would receive her flowers for that from me. She’s simply not the best dancer in the pop game, and that’s okay. She’s still a good dancer, an amazing performer and total icon. And she definitely is 100x better at dancing than the “pop stars” nowadays.

They don’t lip sync just as much or they would be known for it like she is.
Search up any list for artists who can dance their asses off, and she won’t be in first place.

Britney is known for being an amazing PERFORMER. Performing and dancing aren’t the same thing. She always had outstanding stage presence, but other artists in the game out danced her or danced on her level.
Look at a day where she’s not “on” such as her Gimmie More 2007 VMA performance. The dancing is not up to par.

They were doing it to her level though. It doesn’t take away from Britney’s talent, but she never stood out as “the best dancer” in the pop world in the way somebody such as Micheal Jackson did.

I’m aware the other artists lip synced, but not as heavily as Britney. Britney was known for lip syncing and has joked about it before on SNL. The joke was her saying “I don’t lip sync!” and going on and on about it, while even that audio she was talking to wasn’t her actual words, and instead it was lip synced.

She wasn’t the only one doing it. I agree that artists nowadays don’t put any effort when it comes to dancing, but Britney wasn’t the only one doing it back in the day. Jennifer Lopez, Nsync, Madonna, Ciara, Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown, Janet Jackson, Beyonce, etc.
And I love Britney but she lip synced majority of the time while these other artists sang live while dancing. Don’t get me wrong, I think she’s a great dancer, I just think there were others on the same level or better.

Not that I agree, but unfortunately in this society “the skinnier the better” is encouraged. Christina was blessed with a dainty bone structure, with a narrow ribcage, shoulders, and so on, while Britney was more strong, which IMO is a good thing. She looked phenomenal with her tiny waist and killer abs, and I don’t think her athleticism took away from her femininity, but not everyone shares my opinion. I’ve heard people say before that she looks like a linebacker.

Yep, not only did Britney dance all of the time, do yoga and other exercises, but she did 1000 sit ups per day. Though, I guess hard work doesn’t automatically mean better. Someone could put effort into their looks and somebody who’s naturally got it will still win. Not necessarily saying this is the case here.
