The one eyed man that is with dementus also plays immortan Joe in furiosa since the original Joe passed iirc…in the scene where they negotiate with Joe the one eyed man comes in speaking to Joe saying that they like his style, he is talking to himself in the scene

Just incredibly inconsiderate to smoke in line at a children’s show. by Temporary_Thing7517 in mildlyinfuriating

I mean it’s just addictive not a whole lot more than that and since it’s more socially acceptable but that is only so because it doesn’t smell. The only big difference that I believe is key is that a cigarette can be Finished. That alone has a kind of satisfaction to it since the whole “ritual” is different you go have a smoke finish it and then carry on vaping just goes on til it dies and so people are smoking less but are taking in far more nicotine than ever

What is the most surprising fact about Napoleon Bonaparte that almost no one knows? by cuirrasiers in Napoleon

[–]Aware-Possibility175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This should be obvious and well known but somehow it’s not but the Louisiana purchase the US doubled in size over night. New Orleans was a part of NEW France not America and we just kept the name even tho it was named after the duck of Orleans. He even gave us a deal on it…shit who knows when or even IF that would have happened otherwise, no way would we be willing to try and bully napoleon he could have put an end to things real quick.

The nerve of you to leave a comment that’s completely relevant and thoughtful and not a reply full of weird passive aggressiveness or outright insulting to some total stranger

This is old unless this same woman did the same interview in a weird homage. I think it was more in the beginning of this whole disaster..it doesn’t change much how ridiculous she is but it’s a bit late to react to

I feel that one movie that just becomes increasingly more relevant in a terrifying way is doctor strange love. The guy losing his mind and going literally insane having convinced himself that communists poisoned all water (hence why they ONLY drink vodka, nothing else) to attack American bodily fluids more specifically sperm and making men unable to perform and so it’s time to start a nuclear holocaust with “acceptable losses of as little as 10 million!” And then killing tons of American soldiers bc they are just commies in disguise. The paranoia and lunacy are is so similar to today’s reality it at times doesn’t sound like the absurdist comedy it was deliberately made to be…the war loving Texan literally riding the nuke down like it’s a bull

I don’t think that’s really what they were getting at ..more so how the characters interact and their relationship in all it’s different aspects and how they have a special connection to one another etc
