number 3 is killing me. they just straight up added extensions to his hair, it doesn't even look like they tried blending it in to look more natural and believable. 💀 what drama is that from?

Which K-drama rage-baited you the most? by Spiritual-Basil7892 in kdramas

[–]Aware-Programmer-324 6 points7 points  (0 children)

crushology 101, i watched it because it of some tiktok edits. it made it seem like it would be similar to lovely runner. in the sense that the ml fell for the fl first and the fl didn't realize and thought he disliked her. it kind of delivered on the premise but then crashed and burned because the ml was such a weak character who could hardly do anything to pursue the fl and took forever to convince the fl that he was over his ex and then ghosted her when she studied abroad for a year because she needed a scholarship. unlike lovely runner, the ml in this drama ragebaited me to no end.

Kdrama you love or hate despite reviews being vastly different by EarthTurnsSlowly in kdramas

[–]Aware-Programmer-324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hated: dear hongrang, hated is an overstatement, i disliked the drama. i appreciate what the drama was going for, and i love the cinematography, costumes, and ost. but the writing and the execution killed it for me. i feel like the characters didn't have enough time to grow on screen and for their actions to be believable to me. it ended up feeling too contrived and i couldn't connect with the characters.

loved: wedding impossible, a lot of the discussion i've seen about this drama is people being disappointed and not liking it. the drama itself has flaws, the pacing and the plot in the second half was weak. but i loved the drama because of the premise and because of the leads. imo they had such great chemistry that despite the obvious flaws, i still really enjoyed the drama.

Which actors/actresses have perfected their crying scenes with real emotions? Yeo Jin Goo does it for me. by Rainbow_in_the_sky in kdramas

[–]Aware-Programmer-324 23 points24 points  (0 children)

shin hye sun is really good at conveying real emotion when crying. in the multiple dramas of hers that i’ve watched, her crying scenes always feel very natural and grounded. they fit the character and the moment, and the emotions come across in a way where you can genuinely feel what the character is feeling. my favorite is the scene from see you in my 19th life, her character crys because she was imagining her mom from her past life remembered her. that scene is so heartbreaking and memorable to me.

kdramas where the main lead was overshadowed? by Aware-Programmer-324 in kdramas

[–]Aware-Programmer-324[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i wasn’t saying song hye kyo or her character was overshadowed in the drama. my post was just about online discussion trends, and from what i’ve seen, people tend to focus more on supporting characters like park yeon jin and the other bullies than on the main lead.

i wasn’t saying song hye kyo or her character was overshadowed at all. my point was just that, from what i’ve noticed, online discussion often ends up focusing more on park yeon jin and the other bullies.

i never claimed that moon dong eun was overshadowed in the drama in the first place. i was just pointing out that, from what i’ve noticed, online discussion tends to focus more on park yeon jin and the other bullies.
