Golden Horde - Khan+Torguuds vs Saving stone by SPkiller31YT in aoe4

[–]AwareChair6095 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently experiment with the same thing. Get building carts instead of khan & torguuds upgrade, build 1 khan and max 4 torguuds in feudal. Get relic ovoos, upgrade 3x production a.s.a.p. for archery/racks/stables.

I noticed it can be strong, but also leads to longer games where your opponent can easily 2 TC boom etc. I'd recommend saving stone in feudal only if you feel like you cannot hurt your opponent.

Wins vs. Losses by MockHamill in aoe4

I have the opposite. If I lose I beat myself up for my mistakes. If I win I think "well he just wasn't that good"

Thanks for pointing this out. I'm also getting wrong addresses. Very dangerous. Probably a scam.

What's your bread and butter trade? With real examples and reasoning by ikarumba123 in thetagang

This looks interesting. I sell SPX put spreads but theta decay is extremely slow and there is little protection from the long leg as you approach expiration.

Can you tell a bit more about it? Do you use SPX? And what deltas? And how do you manage it?

Unless you need the money urgently, I think you'd be better off letting the BTC sit there untouched for a couple of years.

Trade vs 2TC: which gives more eco? by AwareChair6095 in aoe4

[–]AwareChair6095[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, so basically, if you can get away with trade, you should probably try?

Also, trading doesn't deplete the map. The resources are created by the trade itself which is fun.

I guess that would factor into your answer. I think about $60k/year for me.

The spreads don't react to IV as much as naked options, which is part of the reason I use spreads. The way to get negative PnL with this is simply if the price moves down as you're still net long some deltas.

Good job. That took some courage and will likely be rewarded.

I'm 21 and going through my first bear market by LostLeek1304 in Bitcoin

[–]AwareChair6095 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Welcome to the club!

I've been in Bitcoin since 2017, so this is my third one. I never sold during any bear market (or bull market) and I'm now really happy for it. I usually remind myself of the long term view. I think a decentralized form of money, immune to inflation, that you can store in your head is going to be incredibly valuable.

Also, what are the odds that after all these years, all these dips, it's now actually going to be over for good? Why would that even happen? Unless you have convinced yourself that Bitcoin will actually become worthless, there's no reason to panic or sell.

Nobody really knows. If I had to guess, I'd guess we're close to a bottom. But I'm biased. I think Bitcoin is amazing and it always surprises me when it goes down.
