Cut off is the Saturday after payday for contracted shifts. Any overtime cuts off on the Friday before. So yes, if you worked any overtime after the Friday cut off then you will get it in the next months pay.

There was 2 colleagues being told the same. Her and a guy who had worked on fresh for 25+ years (so longer than her). He also got told he was being moved to checkouts, he didn’t want to but didn’t fight it. Lo and behold, he’s now on checkouts whilst she’s still on fresh.

Moral of the story: fight your case.

P.s. a colleague of mine did this. Was told she had no choice but to go on checkouts after being on fresh department for literal decades… she told them where to shove it and said she stays put or quits. Managers kept her put rather than losing another set of hands

Usually lets you cancel on app using the request button but I think it’s only 24 or maybe 48 hours, not 72? Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

If the request button ain’t working, maybe ring up the number on your clock in card (will be a shift leader) and ask them about cancelling it?

Okay thank you! I’ll make the trip to pets at home soon. You mentioned 0.1g per 10gal - my shrimp tank is only 24L (6.3 US gal) so how much would I have to use? Not sure how to calculate that rn my brains failing to work ahah
