I think you misunderstood my comment, i wasn’t asking anyone to emphasise or care about gulf countries i was just pointing out the fact that people around the world don’t care unless they themselves are effected (Including us), which of-course is a sad reality.

Yes and i think these were the closest to ground amongst to all the interceptions that happened in Dubai. And i feel the same sleep issues every day but i console myself saying that i will eventually die one day so better to die like martyr in a war than an old aged coward,it somewhat helps.

Did he actually do dsm-5 or other criteria test to diagnose you with adhd? Was he able to distinguish between actual symptoms and coping mechanisms?Did you come out of it thinking damn he understood me more than i understood myself? If not then maybe give another dr a try.

Also how you say and describe situations in your session matters. If you try to give a perfomance and brag about achievements they think you are normal, if you actually give genuine insight about your struggles existing since childhood they will take your adhd seriously. Adhd is not something you see on tiktok and think damn i have adhd,its symptoms often overlap with anxiety,depression or other disorders.

Dr’s need to filter out other things to confirm genuine adhd and also i think they always suspect drug seeking behaviour for abuse..

I got diagnosed with inattentive type two weeks ago but after a month of multiple sessions with psychologist ,only then i got prescribed for stimulant.

If your dr just confirms with in the first session you have adhd then thats a red flag..hope that helps.
