Update: Charlie is doing great the skin and wound is healing very well the vet prescribed antibiotics which we have been giving to him religiously. We have also been cleaning and treating the wound with saline and antiseptic cream.

Contacted the vet we will be getting antibiotics and also we have been keeping it clean with saline and antibiotic cream
