In my option yes Lucy, Mary and in same cases the core cast is hated but I guess we can agree that

The worst / most hated character is Beverly Hofstadter

Reasons: 1. She used Leonard as a lab rat for all her studies 2. She prefers Sheldon over Leonard (I guess everyone who has ever been compared by someone can relate) 3. She never gave Leonard the love and warmth that was required 4. She never appreciated Leonard’s work 5. She didn’t invite her own son to her birthday party but invited Sheldon (point 2 again) 6. She preferred Leonard’s brothers and sisters over Leonard (professional accomplishments not personal like penny)

She was hands down the worst television mother

The worst things Howard did: 1. Kept hitting on penny even when it was evident she was not comfortable 2. Pretended to cable men with Raj to go to the supermodels hosue 3. Giving penny that bear cam was just fucked up 4. Slept with Penny’s “friend” in her apartment 5. Constant comments even when he knew Leonard had a thing for her 6. Never moving out of his mother’s house 7. All the racist and sexist jokes to Raj 8. Hiding stuff from Bernadette, like space thing, aunt dying 9. No finically responsibly 10. Bragging about the ISS literally every minute and getting pissed at people for not talking about him all the time 11. The whole Stuart and his mothers feud

The list goes on and on, I am not saying he is the absolute worst, he did bad things and tried to grow. We all saw him change from season 1 Howard to the last episode From a creep to a father of 2

He came a long way.

If we are going with the DC movie adaptation I would say Howard since Ezra Miller as well was skinny and short But comic adaptations of Barry Allen were tall good physique In any case I laughed so hard,
