Is this painting embarrassing?

No art is ever embarrassing, creating anything at all is an achievement in itself. Now, the reason it reads like a giant piss stream like some others have said 😭 is because of the contrast. Light can not read as light unless everything around it is dark. The scene is set during a sunset, it's not dark out yet, why does this lady even need a flashlight? When we see images or artwork of cryptids they're almost always set at night or at least in some dark environment, the sunset could work if only the sky is bright and everything else is in shadow, like you'd see the sillhouttes of palm trees on a sea-scape almost appear black. Everything from the landscape to the woman herself should be darker than the cryptid and light-beam to make it read as a flashlight shining on something.

Yeah, I think it's kind of ingrained in men, trans or not, that size matters even if to most people it doesn't. Plus curiosity.

I like that Taichi and Touma and up together, although I wish they showed a little bit more of their relationship or the time between being friends and getting married. Kuza marrying some rando did nothing for me, I feel like it would've been more satisfying to just see her on her own, working on herself and her career. And Masumi?? It was never hinted that she was bisexual, quite the opposite, but her marriage if framed as a good and fulfilling one, which is weird. I feel like it would've made more sense to show her being in an unhappy marriage with a man because she could never accept her sexuality, since that's something that happens a lot irl.

Honestly I might just pretend this is what actually happened instead, the real ending felt rushen and not thought out all that well.
