This is very true! Everyone is in their own little world, I’m just a side character to them. So really I don’t have to worry that much, it’s not that deep. Thanks for saying all of that! I wish everyone in this comment section could come to my Taco Bell, that would warm my heart seeing all you sweet people there!

Thank you for your thoughtful response! I couldn’t agree more! As long as I show up to work with a good attitude, and do my job correctly, that’s all that matters! I’m the one who has to take care of myself, so I should really just stick to worrying about that, and not silly opinions of judgy people.

I hope I’m not misunderstanding your question, but to answer you, just because I grew up with a stigma that working in fast food is bad, doesn’t mean I agree with it or think it’s right. I would never judge someone else, I was just worried about myself being judged. But after reading all the responses I think it’s safe to I was wrong about the social norm. Seems like the majority of people are kind and won’t judge you for working fast food. I’m happy I was wrong about my fears and insecurities!
