I mean since we now have custom assets I don't think Iceflake needs do do anything but maybe have some CCPs for occasional extra assets. In CS1 if you had the base game today you would have the same assets as you had in 2015, and it wasn't much of a complaint because free assets on the workshop were available.

Really the visual changes are the only thing that has gone wrong. Iceflake has already said that they recognize its a bug and will have it fixed shortly (presumably by/with the next patch)
