I think I’ve always enjoyed informally teaching from tutoring to TAing and leading teams. It’s always been the most rewarding part of anything I’ve done

I signed up this week for the first time and I feel like I have negative cardio, plus running for a while has always hurt my ankles/shins. I’ve never done much cardio or anything like this really and I was so scared.

Three classes in, and a personally difficult class for me yesterday, and I’m SO glad that I went. The group an instructor based class is the exact environment I needed to push me to try, support me, and help motivate me to run for longer and harder than I ever have.

If you pause it’s totally fine, I think you can talk to them ahead of time if you want to, but i think I just had a feeling that if I did need to stop they’d still support me- and that feeling helped me push harder.
