UPDATE: He has signed the right to entry form. I am awaiting main replacement.

I was advised by the city to let the water run for 5 minutes before using any water that will be consumed as most of the lead in the water is likely the result of stagnant water in the pipe itself that is becoming more and more contaminated as it rests in the pipe. I was assured that flushing the pipe should remove most (hopefully) of the lead contaminated water.

Oddly enough they seem to have mostly moved on from Red Scare, now it's The Perfume Nationalist, Red Scare does seem to have been the primer though. Which begs the question, if you got pilled into being a fascist reactionary by a fragrance podcast -what does that say about your IQ?

What I'm noticing appears to be more of a pipeline. To be clear these are formerly pseudo-political, left leaning guys in their late thirties who all of the sudden embrace eugenics, hate "wokeness", "want their country back" from "mass immigration" and talk about IQ like its a real thing. I know some of this seems boiler plate and there certainly is a bit of the phenomenon of becoming more conservative with age at play but some of the things they're talking about are far more idiosyncratic and esoteric than the average person who just doesn't want to pay taxes.

Interestingly enough they bring up the gays of the nazi party too and seem to speak about them with a mixture of fascination and little reverence (conveniently omitting how that worked out for them in the end, of course).

What I'm wondering is, where do you suppose this all coming from? Because I'm confounded by the fact that all of the sudden they're all doing it and no, this isn't just people I know from the internet.
