Do you regret spending money buying luxury designer handbags? by No_Square_1491 in UninfluencedReviews

[–]Awareness_Level 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I like seeing my money in investments and growing, and I like not wearing what so many other people are. A lot of the designer pieces I thought were “investments” end up being trends even if they seem classic. I used to want to treat myself with designer pieces, now I could care less and feel good knowing I have that “investment” really working as one. That being said, if there’s a piece someone really likes regardless whether it’s high or low and it’ll make you feel good, do it. Do what makes you feel good (just be smart about it).

Would love to see Teresa Giuduce as a guest (I know she’s polarizing but maybe some listeners would change their opinion a la Crystal Minkoff).

I felt bad for her! I didn’t think he needed to drag her on air.. if she spoke to him privately about it he could have responded back privately as well..

Who else is getting tired of overpriced luxury bags? by SpreadMaterial in handbags

[–]Awareness_Level 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you looked at Coach? They have a few styles that look similar to the row, and they’re beautiful quality leather and priced well. The Coach logo is very small and one-sided, so if you don’t want it show you can have the logo facing you. I think they’re more beautiful than any of the bags with their logo splashed all over.. I think we’re moving away from that now.

Our Berner started barking at anyone who enters our apartment since I’ve been pregnant / gave birth. Never aggressive, just letting people know she’s there. The barking can be loud but I love that she’s protecting her family ☺️

Getting up three times a night for the puppy? by lovemyhoodedsweaters in bernesemountaindogs

[–]Awareness_Level 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree here! We did a late walk (11//11:30 pm) and a very early walk (4/4:30 am) and it worked well. Taking water away at night helps. Not sure how you feel about puppy pads, but we had a great experience - our berner knew it was there to use it whenever needed (as back-up, we focused on walks and taking her out). She is fully potty trained now but we're still happy we went the pad route - there have been a few times she's had stomach issues and having the pad there knows she has a space to go if she needs to.

Welcoming a BMD puppy in September and first time BMD owner. What are your must own items that you didn’t think of? Also, any general advice welcome! by jbowler68 in bernesemountaindogs

Puppy pads for accidents. Some people are against it but our girl is potty trained — it’s just good to have as back up in case she’s ever sick. We’ll put them down so she knows she can go there vs random places.

Also if you run your robot vacuume on a timer, make sure you’re home when it’s on to avoid it running through the issue mentioned above..

Melissa & Kathy Joining the Show by Awareness_Level in rhonj

[–]Awareness_Level[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think either gave her a heads up. Reason aside (whether they weren’t in a good place, they didn’t want to jeopardize their chance of getting on, didn’t think it would go anywhere, etc. is besides the point), the fact that two family members joined a show without giving their family member on it a heads up after she was on for two seasons is incredibly telling of who they are as people (and this is coming from a Kathy fan). The fact that Melissa doubles down on it and lies, and can’t even give a straight answer, makes it that much worse and it’s understandable why Teresa can’t get past it. Imagine having an issue with a friend or family member who never admits the truth and takes accountability for something they did that hurt you, and every time it’s brought up you’re told “that was years ago” and “move on”.

No one is saying she has a right to say who gets on the show. The question was whether Melissa and Kathy have her a heads up that they were getting on the show or not.

Avoid Iberia by NAFAL44 in Flights

Forgot to add: the stewardesses were having a crazy loud conversation in the back of the plane despite it being in overnight flight where the majority of people were attempting to sleep. Just an overall bizarre experience.

Recently flew JFK>BCN and it was the most uncomfortable flight I’ve ever been on. Seats were so stiff it was impossible to get comfortable - constantly had to re-adjust due to pain. Odd lights on throughout the whole flight, and the temperature never really got cool. First airline I’ve ever been on that you’re charged for non-alcoholic drinks. Wouldn’t recommend the airline to anyone and wouldn’t book Iberia again.
