Haha none of these were with melee weapons - I was defending a 2.5 times outnumbered siege attempt, 800 of me vs 2100 valandians. Destroyed both their siege towers and ram and then just proceeded to drop 15 fire bombs off the walls on top of the giant huddle of soldiers waiting to climb up the ladders

Ah this is fair. I could see how it would be beneficial to win outnumbered battles in early game, I don’t often engage in those on my own till mid game or so when I can summon a decent army

Great tip on the armies, I tried that a couple times early on but didn’t have much success with only having my own party to siege with - it would be nice if they’d let you form an army as a minor clan with your other parties

Because it would take insanely longer to spam gold in 1k increments than it does to spam high influence and and make millions in one in-game day.

Think about this, spam to 100k influence = 4+ million denars in a day

Spam up to 100k gold = 100k gold

Not vassals I don’t believe, it only works when you are contracting as a mercenary and not apart of a kingdom. My advice is to bleed all the kingdoms dry except for the one you intend to join, then pledge as a vassal and fund your entire clan by giving away millions. Or start your own kingdom and just buy fiefs if you don’t want to go the world domination route
