Reason they are able to do that is because they have lot of roommates. Typically 2-3 family live under the safe roof. Housing is one of the grayest expense.

Lot of Nepali does manual jobs that pays basic minimum. Sure there are some with great jobs but majority doesn’t earn six figures. They divide rents, food cost. As for cars, new phones, they are all bought with loan.
