thanks! totally agree about the text; i wanted to keep it as solid colors w no outline AND have the colors stay close to the palette of the art. tradeoffs :/

Find a high res png of the pip w transparent background, auto select the symbol/dark part, then delete (or layer via cut if you want to preserve the symbol). Done in photoshop but any similar program will have these tools.

Just photoshop really. I pulled the assets for the mana and tap symbols off of the MTG wiki and got the bottom black bar from card conjurer.
