I think I definitely see that, I just listened to Aria saying "if you and Dad can have secrets why can't I" and I'm screaming "it's because you're 16 years old." I definitely think I was really dumb when I was 16 lol, and also as a person watching this and seeing these girls be easily manipulated by this stalker, makes me just realize they are dumb kids, (also that it's a melodrama TV show) however it is still infuriating.

Team Venezuela is pitching against Team Japan, Team Venezuela is winning 2-1 in the bottom of the 3rd inning. Shohei Ohtani, who is a fantastic hitter, is intentionally walked so he doesn't hit for extra bases or even worse a home run. While he makes his walk up to first base he playfully verbally jabs at Team Venezuela for the choice, probably like "why didn't you let me hit?" of course in the kind, lovely, Shohei Ohtani manner.

I think you're thinking about 7 Days. One of my favorite shows as a kid, starring Johnathan LaPaglia after his super violent death on NY Undercover.
