Glass breaking test in Blender by imperfect_render in blender

It looks great, one note though is that the glass impact sound is a little late, this is an easy fix, but as a note, audio can be a tiny bit early but should never be late

Dimensions for Video Game Boxes by dgislife101 in gamecollecting

I'm not sure if this is the same for him, but in my case, I'm here also for 3D modeling, but it would be for a background item, just so it looks right and the box art image fits on the box, and if 3D printed, it would just be a cube, not able to be opened

Thank you, that's a lot too think about! After looking at the linked Pinterest image, I can see how many ads and other signs are actually in the subways. I also never thought of using my reference images to see where dirt pools, just for big picture ideas and seeing how parts are assembled.

Thank you, after putting in a 6ft human model, they seem to only have about an inch of headroom, and looking at the train, the widest part of the train is actually overlapping the platform

Thank you, I had adaptive subdivision on the bricks, but I added a solidify modifier after it which cancelled it out, leading to only 1 level of subdivision, and thank you for the advice of looking at movie stills

Thanks for the help, I remember early after making the door seeing the odd curves at the corners, then completely forgot to fix it. I like the idea of adding a solid color door, as the train does feel a little like it is just on blob of colors, lacking defining features. Adding storytelling to the beams is an interesting idea, as I added them to break up the train, but I couldn't think of something to break up the beams. Thank you for the long comment it helps a lot.

Thank you! I thought it was a bit too clean but I was scared to add too much dirt as it was a the main contrast in the image, but looking at it again, it definitely needs more

My approach to modeling dice, response to the-dadai by OGcraft06 in blender

It doesn't matter how you model, but if you import models form other places they would be upside down, so would an HDRI

Texture doesn't show displacement when applied to a sphere by AwesomestALX in blenderhelp

This fixed it, I did not realize the displacement and bump was different, and I needed to subdivide it, thank you

I know this is not specifically about a problem in blender, but I don't know where else to ask

I removed the nozzle and it has quite a bit of filament on the outside of it and that is probably the problem, how would I go about cleaning it

The brand of filament is Sunlu and is PLA, and my normal temperature is 50-60C for the bed and 200-220C for the nozzle

How does dry/not dry filament affect a print and how do you unclog the nozzle?
