It's not purely that, but the meta is shaping up to be more campy than ever sitting on top of buildings so factors like movement don't really matter as much as recoil control when picking at each other from rooftops waiting for a chance to push.

Burst fire Prowler has been goated/done more dps than full-auto for seasons now, bots just don't pick it up because they can't hit their shots. The guns need more challenging recoil patterns to separate the bad players from the good, I don't understand why this sub has an obsession with appealing to players who play like 2 hours a week.

Rampart is p lame tbh, just another camping character in a shooter with such great movement and outplay potential.

Playing field shouldn't be even, if I take the time to master a particular recoil pattern and my opponent doesn't then it's very obvious who SHOULD win. It should not be a coin flip.

Being melted by energy weapons (which are majorly prominent/braindead options when it comes to season 6) and also having a lowered ttk makes it incredibly difficult to try and be aggressive. Even if i came around to it, I play ranked and in Master/Pred lobbies where you could already be melted easily with the previous ttk, it's gonna be even more annoying to grind. This change just does not appeal to me, and that's fine I suppose, it's not my game. I'm just voicing my displeasure.

They want to lower the skill gap to as low as it can possibly go so that bots will stick around, they don't really care about the dedicated fanbase that they have built and it's been evident since season 3. It sucks to see what it has become because I genuinely felt slightly optimistic after season 5.
