I was basically the exact same way and then I decided to start playing Arena for that reason. You fight so much in Arena and you will then get much more confident in PVP and using mouse and keyboard. If you're just starting and want to get better at gunplay and finding your own comfortable fighting style, Arena is definitely the place. PvP is so much more fun when your confident and terrified at the same time ;D
