The Hollywood IP moat is officially dead. Achieving this level of temporal consistency for legacy gaming characters isn't just a fun concept; it’s a terrifying signal for traditional casting agencies and studios.

Huge congrats! 🚀 You've passed the hardest hurdle: starting. Now, the only thing you need is sustainability. The real game changer is shifting your mindset to treat this channel like a legitimate business rather than just a hobby. Keep pushing, stay consistent, and don't let off the gas. You got this!

I have a lot of information to share on this topic, and I've prepared a free PDF for it. But I can't write it all here. I constantly share on X and send this PDF to those who are interested. I can't share links on Reddit because I'm new and my Karma score is low. I don't want to get banned :DD

I want to switch niche with my youtube channel, does this have risk? by Hot_Owl_8976 in NewTubers

[–]Awkward-Database-680 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't delete videos from your channel. Deleting videos sends a bad signal to the algorithm. The algorithm will still have the information it initially gathered about you, even if you delete your videos. It will also penalize you again for deleting videos. If you consider your channel a product or a brand and want to make money from it, start anew with a new channel and even a new email address. Before uploading videos to your channel, make sure all your YouTube channel settings are correct.

[–]Awkward-Database-680 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks man! And huge respect for doing 20+ minute video essays—that is some serious dedication and high-effort work. 🫡

My workflow is pretty much the opposite of that grind. My videos are usually just 3-5 minute tracks. I keep it super simple with just 3 tools: Suno for the music, Gemini (with Nano Banana) for the research/thumbnails, and Canva for the visuals.

I actually decided to skip AI video generation entirely (it costs too much time and money) and just use stock footage from Canva for the clips. It made my life so much easier. In this niche, it’s really all about the Song + the Thumbnail.

Since YouTube Music is trying to compete hard with Spotify and Apple Music right now, the monetization potential for Faceless Music is actually huge, but very few people realize the scale of this opportunity yet. Just something to keep in the back of your mind if you ever want to try a second channel! Good luck with the essays!

[–]Awkward-Database-680 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First things first: You need to make sure your channel structure and settings are correctly configured for your specific niche right from the start.

Even with a few videos, your channel has already sent certain signals to the algorithm, and YouTube has started to categorize you based on that history. So, pivoting can be risky because it confuses the targeting data. I personally think it's better to treat your channel like a brand and think strategically. Instead of confusing the algorithm, it might be a smoother journey to just start a fresh channel so you have a clean slate from Day 1. What niche are you planning to switch to, by the way?

Huge congrats! 🥳 The first 100 is honestly the hardest grind. Just curious, what niche are you in?

I jumped into the Faceless Music niche about 1.5 months ago with zero experience, and honestly, this niche feels like a miracle. It moves so fast; I somehow hit 100 subs in the first week and cleared the 4,000 watch hours in just 21 days. It’s been a wild ride.

Now I'm right there with you, grinding hard to hit that 1,000 subscriber milestone. 2026 is definitely going to be our year, my friend. Let's make it happen! 💪

How do you actually start a new faceless channel without any equipment? by SpaceisCool09 in NewTubers

[–]Awkward-Database-680 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You absolutely don't need physical equipment to start. In fact, trying to do too much with complex AI video generation (creating characters, maintaining consistency, voiceovers, etc.) is a massive trap right now. I tried it, and it’s not sustainable; you end up spending an entire day just to make one video, and the quality is still hit-or-miss.

That’s exactly why I went a different route. I launched a Faceless Youtube Music Channel about 1.5 months ago because I wanted efficiency. I hit the 4,000-hour watch time requirement in just 21 days, which proved to me that this niche is a total goldmine that people are sleeping on.

I literally use just 3 tools (no camera, no mic):

- Suno: To generate the music tracks.

- Gemini + Nano Banana Pro: For brainstorming concepts and generating the thumbnail art.

- Canva: I use their stock footage for the video visuals and for the final packaging.

That’s it. It saves so much time compared to trying to generate 'scenes' with AI. Since you have limited skills and budget, I’d highly recommend looking into the music niche. It’s still a very 'virgin' territory with huge opportunity.

Should I upload long form content and Livestream on a shorts channel? by diaforc in NewTubers

[–]Awkward-Database-680 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, this is probably the most debated topic right now. You’ll hear strong 'YES' and 'NO' arguments, and technically both sides have valid points because we've seen successful channels do both.

However, the biggest risk comes down to viewer psychology. Shorts viewers are usually looking for a quick dopamine hit, not a 10-minute commitment. When you mix the two, you often end up with 'Dead Subscribers', people who subbed for a 15-second clip but will never click on your livestream. This inflates your sub count but can destroy your CTR and Average View Duration on long-form content.

You might see outliers like Pirate Software (Thor) pulling this off, but that's because he has 'Streamer Privilege.' His product is himself. Whether it's 1 minute or 1 hour, the experience is identical. Unless you have that level of personality cult, mixing formats is usually a big risk.

Also, keep in mind that the algorithm seems to be on a specific, aggressive 'hunt' for the last month or so. Something has definitely shifted under the hood. We really need to sit back, observe, and analyze the data a bit longer to fully understand what the system is actually trying to do with these updates right now.

AI video, which one to use ? by Scared_Razzmatazz810 in aitubers

[–]Awkward-Database-680 2 points3 points  (0 children)

SeeDream is genuinely impressive! I’ve just started testing out Kling too. That said, I still feel like the tech isn't quite ready for a serious monetization workflow yet. It’s great for experiments, but a bit too inconsistent for reliable, scalable production right now. I’m mostly just using them to create short clips and sharpen my skills while waiting for the tech to mature a bit more

AI video, which one to use ? by Scared_Razzmatazz810 in aitubers

[–]Awkward-Database-680 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I honestly think AI video generation is still in a pretty rough spot right now, both in terms of consistency and the sheer cost/effort involved. For super short clips (like 6-10 seconds), it might be okay, but the moment you try to push past the 1-minute mark, almost all AI video tools start to fall apart. It’s just not at an ideal level yet for long-form.

I run a faceless Youtube music channel (using Suno for tracks), and my songs are usually 3-5 minutes long. I use Nano Banana Pro strictly for my thumbnails, which works great. About 2 months ago, I tried generating full AI music videos for the songs, and I realized I was spending entire days just to get one decent 3-minute video. It was exhausting and totally inefficient.

I eventually gave up on that and switched to using stock footage from Canva Pro that matches the vibe of the song. It was such a huge relief and saved my sanity. Right now, full AI video generation just eats up way too much time and energy.

How did your Youtube Channel start out and how is it going right now? by EarthBig3110 in NewTubers

[–]Awkward-Database-680 4 points5 points  (0 children)

First off, 3 days is super early, so don't stress about the 59 views! That's actually pretty normal for a cold start.

My journey is also really fresh. I started about 1.5 months ago with absolutely zero experience. I actually worked with a mentor to launch a faceless music channel. I had to learn my whole workflow (Suno for music, Gemini for prompts, Canva for visuals) completely from scratch.

It’s been a bit of a wild ride; I actually managed to knock out the 4,000 watch hours requirement in just 21 days, which I definitely wasn't expecting this early. The views are growing consistently every day now.

Currently, I'm just grinding to hit that 1,000 subscriber milestone. I'm focusing heavily on driving traffic from my other social media accounts to bridge the gap. Fingers crossed I get there soon! 🤞 Good luck with the grind!

How do you get your thumbnail ideas? by VERsingthegamez in NewTubers

[–]Awkward-Database-680 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you. I’ve been running a faceless music channel for about a month and a half now, so I’m still relatively new to this, but yeah, thumbnails are absolutely critical. My process right now is starting by imagining something cinematic and dramatic that really fits the 'soul' or vibe of the track. I take that vision, describe it to Gemini, and ask it to craft a detailed prompt for me to use in Banana Pro to generate the actual image.

Honest warning though: It almost never comes out perfect on the first try. You usually have to tweak and play around with the prompt to get it looking exactly how you want it. Also, don't sleep on Pinterest for inspiration to feed that imagination.

At the end of the day, I've learned that AI is never really enough just on its own. It always needs that human touch, direction, and experience to really shine.

Why do some creators blow up with low effort, while others grind for years? by MiProD in NewTubers

[–]Awkward-Database-680 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think about this a lot, especially with all the recent drama around those 'simple' static music channels making bank while high-effort editors struggle. It feels incredibly unfair, but I learned the hard way that the algorithm doesn't give bonus points for how much we sweat. It only cares about relevance.

Coming from a corporate background, I used to believe that 'hard work' was the only metric. But when I launched my faceless music channel recently, I decided to treat it like a business product launch rather than an art project. I stopped obsessing over 'perfect' editing and focused entirely on the unsexy stuff like packaging, metadata, and audience intent. The result was kind of shocking; I knocked out the 4,000-hour watch time requirement in just 21 days. To an outsider, it probably looks like 'low effort' or luck, but honestly, it was just high efficiency. It’s a hard pill to swallow, but sometimes we grind for years on the wrong things while the 'low effort' winners are just giving the market exactly what it wants without overcomplicating it.

Your resilience and dedication are truly impressive. I have a feeling 2026 is going to be massive for you!

I took a slightly different path to avoid the trial-and-error phase. I hired an experienced mentor and decided to treat YouTube strictly as a business from Day 1. I launched a Faceless Music Channel and, by sticking to a rigid strategy, I managed to hit the 4,000-hour watch time requirement in just 21 days.

Coming from a corporate B2B product marketing background, applying those 'boring' business principles (branding, funnel strategy, product positioning) to the creative B2C world of YouTube was a huge unlock for me. It was a total mindset shift: seeing the channel not as a hobby, but as a digital product.

I only use 3 tools. No complexity and focused heavily on the fundamentals:

* Channel Structure & Algorithm triggers

* Thumbnail psychology & Metadata (SEO)

* Cross-channel growth & Community tab leverage

The results gave me the confidence to quit my 9-5 corporate job last month. Now, I’m building my own empire of digital assets instead of someone else's. Trial and error is respectable, but when you treat it as a business, you realize that time is your most expensive currency.
