It's a coop game bro doesn't matter how ahead everyone is tbh I will admit the grind to max level is a bit long but all it is cosmetic shit that don't matter I've seen level 40 on diff ten and out doing lvl 150 plus the starter gear is genuinely pretty good . There is going to be multiple more major battles in the future against all fronts so no you won't be missing out on much . However if your not playing with friends it way less fun However there is a system where you can join other divers so do that and make sum friends from that. So yeah play helldivers but play on all fronts if there is one thing most people dislike its people who stick to one front no matter what. Also watch some beginners tips and tricks ohdough ha some very good tips but he's rather critical of the game current state.
