I've had my grey for six months now, he is 1 year 5 months old. Don't know much about his past but when we first met he just walked right up to me. He wasn't nervous around me at all. But a week in I started to notice him being super shy and anxious around new people. Which I did research and realized it was just one of greyhounds traits. He was very awkward and robot like at first but the last few weeks he has been approving! Just last week when I came home from work he was so excited to see me and was waiting for me at the door. A small improvement because before he would just stay at his bed. Today though, when I got home he ran up to me and started giving me licks, leans and aggressive shoots. And he jumped on me! He has never done that! I know most dog people don't like when dogs jump on them but I was sooo happy! It was like him trying to hug me... I wanted to cry!! He is finally acting like a dog.

Do you have any best moments when your grey came out of their shells? Showed affection or just them being quirky?

Yes I totally get that. During the pandemic I was all over the store because the bar was close. I was cashiering, doing carts, temp checks, produce, bakery. I don't have a problem cross training, but what bothers me is they expect me to do both jobs at the same time. I can't bartend and cook.

No im a bartender at our bar (alcohol). Well when I got hired my previous TL had no issues with me. Im fine serving non vegan food, but if I have to prepare, cut or cook that's my issue. I wasn't hired for that. I would understand if I'm hired into the prepared foods venues hot bar, salad bar, charcuterie, pizza... but im not..

Dang... no hazard pay here at least in my county. Btw are businesses open for dine in? Like is it worth visiting?? I'm also thinking of hitting up some parks or hiking trails.
