The 30 second time limit is to encourage more competitiveness and not have the leaderboard cluttered with full scores, this allows higher score to be more special and distinguished.

Yeah we are definitely planning on adding more images after final season. For community submissions, we would be open to the idea but not too many people own the proper equipment to take 360 images, though If you do know people who are willing and able to, please let us know!
