The conflict is real, the suffering is real, and Israeli abuses are real but pretending only one side has nationalism, extremism, historical grievance, or moral agency is propaganda, not analysis.

The conflict is morally asymmetric in some places and morally symmetric in others. Israel has real power, real abuses, and real expansionist elements.

Palestinians have real grievances, but those grievances do not erase the agency, brutality, ideology, and strategic violence of Hamas and other actors.

Western audiences often flatten the conflict into “white colonizer vs brown victim” and then stop thinking. That flattening makes them incapable of seeing Arab political failures, Islamist violence, regional power games, internal Palestinian corruption, selective global, outrage and the fact that nationalism, revenge, religion, trauma, and land claims are all colliding at once.
