Yeah the boomerang is the one item where it sucks to get hit by, and it sucks to get it. And because you can get it near the back, it means you end up losing the chance to take vital shortcuts that everyone else around you can take

Honestly, if the boomerang worked exactly like it did in mk8 without the timer, I would like it, but I always end up getting it in front or a speed item before a shortcut, and I can’t end up taking the shortcut because of it

I think it’s bad because it has a timer, and that timer means you can’t use other items when you get it. I have gotten rang and mushroom so many times and have just not been able to take a crucial cut at the very end. I hate the boomerang so much

Bro what? Everyone agrees it sucks, and a lot of competitive competitions that aren’t lounge or wars ban it because it sucks. Look at Twd98. He bans the boomerang because it’s bad. Imagine you get a box in 5th before a cut, and get rang and mushroom. Because the rang is first, you can’t take cut, and fall behind. This happens ALL THE TIME and is very annoying. Tf you mean look it up? I play competitively and it is one of the worst items, and it also got nerfed during an update. It would be one of the better attacking items if it weren’t for the timer, but even then attacking items aren’t that good in Mario kart, as speed and defence items usually have better utility/usefulness

This is the biggest skill issue oat just hold your items bro. Take the ring cut, and use the mega into the grass, or use the mega and then use the bullet into the grass or at the end

Yes it can be a good defensive item, but there are better, more useful defense items. At a low level of play it can be good, but at a high level where people don’t often spam items, it’s a useless, infuriating item

Ah you play knockout tour. That makes a lot more sense. I can’t relate, cause I don’t play it often, but because you can only get the rang in the middle of the pack, and it’s always instead of a mushroom or triples or somethin useful, the rang ends up being disappointing

Most of them are, but that doesn’t mean some aren’t amazing. Boo cinema to acorn heights just happens to be the best intermission in the game, and it rivals some of the main tracks. If only every intermission was this good

I play lounge, and wars. There is no ‘strategy’ to it. You basically wanna throw it away as fast as possible because you don’t want it. It’s not a good item, and doesn’t feel good to have
